Your app's metadata includes misleading content, such as inaccurate descriptions, misleading screenshots, or hidden features. App descriptions, screenshots, and previews must accurately reflect the app's functionality. Additionally, superlative claims ('best', '#1', 'most popular') could get flagged.

Resolution Guide

Audit your App Store listing

Compare every claim in your description against your app's actual features. Remove or modify any statements about functionality that isn't present or works differently than described.

Review all screenshots

Ensure every screenshot shows actual app interfaces from the current build. Replace any mockups, concept images, or screenshots from older versions that no longer match.

Check your app preview video

Verify the video only shows features available in the submitted version. Remove any preview that demonstrates functionality not present in the current build.

Substantiate or remove claims

Either provide evidence for superlative claims ('best', '#1', 'award-winning') or replace them with factual, demonstrable benefits ('reduces time by X', 'supports Y formats').

Update and resubmit

Make the necessary metadata changes in App Store Connect and resubmit for review without changing the app binary.
