Resolve Rejections
Got rejected? Resolve it without leaving your editor.
Input methods
Start a resolution in any of three ways:
- Paste your rejection email — the AI extracts the guideline code automatically
- Provide a guideline code — enter it directly (e.g. "4.3")
- Describe the issue — use your own words and the skill will search the database
Resolution flow
1
Lookup
The skill looks up the rejection in the App Store Reject database and fetches the full details: description, resolution steps, community solutions, and before/after examples.
2
Codebase analysis
Your AI agent searches your codebase for files relevant to the rejection (e.g. privacy manifests, payment code, Info.plist).
3
Fix proposal
The agent proposes specific changes to your code, with explanations for each change. It waits for your approval before making any edits.
Appeal alternative
If you believe the rejection was incorrect, the resolve skill can also generate a draft appeal letter locally — without sending anything to the API.
With vs. without an API key
Without an API key, you get rejection summaries and basic resolution guidance. With a key, you get full resolution steps, community solutions, and before/after examples.
